Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Digital Leverage LLC Dba Taste Systems ("tastematter," "we," "us") collects, uses, and retains information when you use tastematter.dev and associated services.
Information We Collect
Account and contact information
When you subscribe to the daily brief or request access to the concept graph MCP server, we collect your email address. We use this to deliver the services you requested and to communicate with you about your account.
Usage data
When you use the concept graph MCP server, we collect usage data including the queries and code you submit, tool invocations, response metadata, error information, and timestamps. This data is associated with your authenticated email address.
Technical data
We collect standard technical data through our infrastructure provider Cloudflare, including IP addresses, browser type, and request metadata. This data is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy and is not stored in our own databases.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the daily intelligence brief and MCP services you requested
- Operate, maintain, and improve our services
- Analyze usage patterns to understand how our services are used and identify areas for improvement
- Communicate with you about your account and our services
- Comply with legal obligations
Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest in operating and improving our services, and performance of the service agreement established when you create an account.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own commercial purposes. We share information only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — infrastructure, edge delivery, and access management
- Resend — email delivery
- Anthropic — AI model inference for brief generation (article content only; your personal information is not transmitted)
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of tastematter and its users.
Data Retention
We retain usage data, including query logs, for up to 90 days. Email addresses and account information are retained for the duration of your subscription. You may request deletion at any time as described below.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at jacob@taste.systems. We will respond within 30 days.
You may unsubscribe from the daily brief at any time using the link included in every email.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
